It rained on our parade, but the show went on. Drenched, cold, eating wet sausages in soggy buns under the downpour. This is the most memorable parade I've ever been in.
What makes a perfect beach photo? Blue sea, blue skies, and beach babies clad in blue swimsuits.
If you're getting one, how are you planning on spending your tax refund?
Tough question. There are a million things I want to do that would eat up that tax refund like THAT. Now, though, I would probably use it to pay for that package course on flying. I have never seen the US Virgin Islands from the air but I bet it's glorious. Sad though. I don't pay tax.
The Caribbean is probably one of the most sought after vacation hotspots. I gotta remind myself everytime. After six moths of living in America's Paradise, the novelty is beginning to wear off. Waking up to a dazzling sunrise is no longer as energizing. Watching the pastel buildings turn pink before a postcard sunset is no longer as breathtaking. I need to reload, change back to factory settings and watch this view with fresh eyes and a refreshed soul. Only then will the world become infused with magic again.
Scientific thriller by Dan Brown. Great read.
